where did Melania Trump disappear

Amid the hype surrounding former President Donald Trump‘s impeachment trial on Tuesday night, former first lady Melania Trump was notably absent from Mar-a-Lago, where her husband made his first public speech hours after he was charged with criminal charges.

In his speech, Trump thanked his family one by one without mentioning Melania, referring to his adult children Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka, pointing out that Barron, his son from his third wife Melania, will be great one day, while the former first lady was not praised.

While Donald Jr., Eric, and Tiffany Trump attended their father’s speech with their spouses, Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, were in Wyoming to celebrate Easter, according to a New York Post report.

Ambiguity about its absence

Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for information about the former first lady’s whereabouts over the past two days after the former president traveled to New York on Monday for his trial on Tuesday without her.

In the same context, Michael LaRosa, who used to be a spokesperson for First Lady Jill Biden, suggested on Twitter that it was meaningful that Melania was not present during her husband’s speech.

“Before Trump showed up in the doorway, I held my breath, waiting to see if the former first lady would be next to him, hold his hand, and show unconditional love and support,” LaRosa said.

34 criminal charges

Melania Trump, 52, was last seen with the former president last week, when the two were having dinner at the Mar-a-Lago resort shortly after a Manhattan grand jury voted to indict him.

Trump faces 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to payments to silence porn actress Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal before the 2016 election so they would remain silent about his alleged extramarital affairs.
