Companies often buy tools before teaching people how to use them. That is why it feels messy. When we created prompt templates and clear use cases, AI became more useful. Randomly telling everyone to 'use AI' is not a strategy.
Do AI tools really save time at work, or do they just create more checking and editing?
My company wants everyone to use AI more, but sometimes I spend more time fixing the AI answer than doing the task myself. Is this normal?
Workers discuss whether AI tools save time at work or create extra review, editing and verification tasks.

The checking is real. If the output needs accuracy, you have to verify it. But even then, AI can help by giving you a starting point. The mistake is assuming the first answer is the final answer.
It depends on the task. AI saves me time on first drafts, summaries and turning messy notes into structure. It wastes time when I ask it to make decisions without enough context. I treat it like an assistant, not an expert.
