I switched to almond milk mostly because it has fewer calories, but sometimes I wonder if I am just paying more for something that is not much better. Has anyone felt a real difference?

AI Summary

Replies were mixed. Some users liked almond milk because it was lighter and easier on digestion, while others said regular milk was more filling and had more protein. Many said the best choice depends on tolerance, taste, and nutrition goals.

Check the label. A lot of almond milk has very little protein, so it depends what you are using milk for.

I switched because regular milk bothered my stomach. For me the benefit was comfort, not weight loss.

I only use almond milk in coffee because it is lighter. For protein, regular milk is still better in my opinion.

I tried almond milk and ended up preferring oat milk. Almond milk felt too watery unless it was in coffee or cereal.
