I would focus on the return policy more than the label. Some hybrids feel soft and some foam beds feel firm. The only way to know is sleeping on it for a few weeks. Make sure you can return it without a nightmare process.
Is a hybrid mattress better than memory foam if I don’t want to sink too much?
I’m shopping for a queen mattress in a box and I keep seeing hybrid and memory foam options. I like some softness, but I hate that stuck-in-the-bed feeling.
Shoppers compare hybrid mattresses and memory foam for support, sink, bounce and comfort.

It depends on your body and sleep position. I’m a side sleeper and liked memory foam because it relieved pressure on my shoulder. My husband hated the sinking. If you move a lot at night, hybrid usually feels less restrictive.
A hybrid was better for me because the coils gave more pushback. Memory foam felt comfortable for the first few minutes, but I woke up feeling trapped. With a hybrid, I still get cushioning on top but the bed feels easier to move on.
