Reddit is useful because people often mention the boring details: battery drain, subscription changes, customer support, bugs, and refund problems. Influencer content usually shows the exciting parts. I still look at videos for visuals, but I check Reddit before paying for any app or device.

I trust Reddit more for complaints and long-term experiences, but not automatically. You still have to read several threads and check if people are exaggerating. The best part is seeing back-and-forth discussion. On TikTok, a product can look amazing for thirty seconds, but Reddit usually tells you what breaks after three months.
