I deleted it for a month and realized how often I was opening it without thinking. I reinstalled it, but now I set a timer and only use it when I am looking for something specific. The content is entertaining, but the app is built to keep you there longer than you planned.
Is TikTok still worth using in 2026, or has it become too addictive?
I like TikTok for quick videos and product ideas, but I also feel like I lose an hour without noticing. Has anyone actually found a healthy way to use it?

Answers & Discussion
As a creator, TikTok is still worth using because discovery is better than most platforms. A small account can still get attention if the video hits the right audience. As a viewer, though, I agree it can eat your time. I removed notifications and that helped a lot.
TikTok is useful when I search intentionally, but dangerous when I open it out of boredom. I now use it more like a search app for recipes, travel tips, and reviews. If I just start scrolling the For You page, I can lose the evening. The app is not bad, but you need boundaries.
