My Shanti is a good one if you want a sit-down meal that feels more special. Surrey has a lot of great food if you ask people instead of just sticking to the obvious chains.
Tap Restaurant has been consistently good for us for date nights or when we want something nicer without going into Vancouver. It depends which part of Surrey you’re in though.
For coffee, I’d check what is closest to your neighbourhood first, but Prado Café in Surrey has been a good stop for me. Surrey is spread out, so convenience matters more than people realize.
