My partner tosses and turns, and I wake up every time. Should we look for memory foam, hybrid, pocket coils or something else?
Couples discuss motion isolation and mattress types that reduce disturbance from tossing and turning.
Answers & Discussion
A pocket-coil hybrid can also work if the coils are individually wrapped and the top foam is decent. It gives less bounce transfer than old innerspring beds while still feeling easier to move on than all-foam.
Memory foam usually has the best motion isolation because it absorbs movement. The downside is heat and that stuck feeling for some people. If motion is the biggest issue, foam is worth considering.
