For normal life, the best AI assistant is the one you actually build habits around. If it saves you time on emails, planning and understanding documents, it is useful. Benchmarks matter less than whether it fits your workflow.
Which AI assistant is actually best for everyday life: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or Perplexity?
I use AI for small things like emails, meal ideas, research, travel planning and explaining stuff. There are so many tools now that I’m not sure if one is clearly better for normal daily use.
People compare ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and Perplexity for everyday tasks like writing, research, planning and productivity.
Answers & Discussion
Claude feels strongest for careful writing and long explanations for me. ChatGPT feels faster and more flexible for daily tasks. Gemini is improving because of the Google connection. My advice is to pick one main tool and one backup instead of trying to use five every day.
I use more than one. ChatGPT is my default for brainstorming and rewriting, Perplexity is better when I want sources, and Gemini is useful if you live inside Google apps. I do not think there is one perfect assistant yet. The best tool depends on the task.
