Everyone loves going to parties, right? With summer in full swing in the northern hemisphere, it may seem like there is a party every day. If you find yourself hosting a party and you’re not sure what to make, I list the five best inexpensive recipes for dishes that everyone will enjoy. These dishes aren’t only limited to the summer; the readers experiencing winter in the southern hemisphere can enjoy these recipes for a winter party as well.
One of my former coworkers sent this fruit salsa recipe to me back in 2012. I used it for a super bowl party and a birthday party; guests that were in attendance for both parties really loved this dish. It is perfect with cinnamon pretzels or chips and it also is a great snack before and after meals!
2 Granny smith apples washed, cored and cut into quarters
16 strawberries washed, hulled and cut in half (usually a 1 lb clamshell from the store is good)
2 kiwis peeled cut in half.
1 big tablespoon of jam or jelly of your choice
Chop the apples in food processor until they’re in big chunks (like the size of a large dice)
Add strawberries, kiwi and jam, pulse until desired consistency.
