Setting up a home Security system does not have to be a long drawn out process involving multiple visits to home security companies.  You can simply set up a wireless security camera that will stream video to your smart device, and send you an alert in case it detects motion.

Some wireless home systems have the advantage of having cloud storage for your video footage. However, this depends on the type and package you go for. We will review some of the best wireless home security systems, and what we feel make them worth considering.

Final thoughts

When looking for the best wireless home security system, get one that is easy to set up, easily connects to Wi-Fi, and your smart devices, has good quality pictures, and has other functions like motion detection.

Cloud storage is also very important because you will need a place to store your videos and get access to them anytime you need them. Most of the cameras will not come with local storage and you will have to pay a small fee to access cloud storage.
