Watch.. Biden stumbles and falls to the ground during a graduation ceremony in the US state of Colorado

Yesterday, President Joe Biden fell after delivering the final certificate at a graduation ceremony at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado.

The US president, who is 80 years old, fell after stumbling. Three people helped him to get up on one knee, but he returned to his seat without assistance.

After Biden helped the man stand up, he gestured behind himself, indicating where the man had stumbled. Then he greeted the officials with a smile.

According to a tweet by White House spokesperson Ben LaBolt, Biden is okay. LaBolt also mentioned that there was a bag of sand on stage when the President was shaking hands.

“The person in question is doing well,” stated White House spokeswoman Karen Jean-Pierre in a subsequent briefing with members of the press.

President Biden, who is currently the oldest person to assume the presidency, plans to seek re-election in 2024. Meanwhile, his primary Republican rival, Donald Trump, will turn 77 years old this month.

In February of last year, doctors confirmed that Biden was healthy and able to perform his duties as President. They reported that he abstained from alcohol and smoking, and worked out at least 5 times a week.
