Russia said, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, that Ukraine had attacked with drones the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin, “but he was not harmed,” and the Kremlin added that “the attempt to assassinate Putin is a planned terrorist act,” according to Anadolu Agency.
The Russian presidential administration also said that Kiev tried on Wednesday to launch drones at Putin’s residence in the Kremlin. She explained, “Two drones targeted the Kremlin, and as a result of the timely measures taken by the army and special services using radar warfare systems, the two drones were disabled.”

It also added, “As a result of the terrorist act , the president was not harmed, his schedule did not change, and he continues as usual. There were no casualties during the attack or from the scattering of drone fragments on the Kremlin’s territory.”
While footage of the two plane attacks was published, Russia considered the attack on the presidential residence a planned terrorist act and an attempt to assassinate Putin, and reserves the right to take retaliatory measures wherever and however it deems appropriate.
