Trump attacks Prince Harry and Meghan before the coronation of King Charles

Former US President Donald Trump attacked the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, ahead of King Charles‘ coronation, saying she was “very disrespectful” in her dealings with the late queen.

Trump, 76, said he was shocked to learn that Prince Harry had been invited to his father’s coronation this weekend, after tensions between the Duke of Sussex and the royal family.

Harry will attend the historic event in Westminster Abbey, while Meghan will remain at home in California with their two children. In a new interview, Trump said the coronation “is a great day for King Charles, I think they will do a great job and he really loves the country and loves his mother. I think she was treated so disrespectfully by Meghan, there was no reason to do that. I was really surprised that Harry was invited.”

Trump explained his remarks during an interview with “GB News”, and continued: “How can you be disrespectful to the Queen? She’s been amazing, for decades, and she did nothing wrong. I can’t think of a mistake she made, she was never controversial. She passed Years and decades without controversy. You can’t disrespect her, and I think Meghan was disrespectful to her.”

Trump also said that Harry wrote some “horrible” things about his family in his memoirs, according to the British newspaper “Mirror”.
