She disappeared in 2007.. Will the fate of baby Madeleine McCann finally be revealed?

Will the fate of the British girl Madeleine McCann, who disappeared nearly 17 years ago, be finally revealed after announcing the discovery of “important evidence” in a tourist area in Portugal? This is what the girl’s parents and all those following this file are hoping for, which has become a public opinion issue in Britain and Europe since 2007.

A report published by the British newspaper The Independent said today, Saturday, that the Portuguese authorities found “relevant evidence” in the Madeleine case after 3 days of searching this week in a natural resort in the south of the country .

The newspaper quoted Portuguese officials as saying that the German suspect, Christian Bruckner, visited that area for a few days after Madeleine’s disappearance on May 3, 2007, when she was only 3 years old.

Bruckner is imprisoned in Germany, convicted of the rape and murder of a 72-year-old woman, and accused of multiple sexual offenses against women and young girls between 2000 and 2007.

He was declared a prime suspect in the case of Madeleine’s disappearance by the Portuguese police in April 2022, but he denied his involvement in the crime.

The Independent said the police search lasted for 3 days, ending Thursday, during which sniffer dogs and various technical tools were used to help trace evidence, about 31 miles from where Madeleine’s family was staying in the Praia de Luz resort.

According to the newspaper, the Portuguese police confirmed that the intensive search process made it possible to find important “relevant evidence” that will be subject to specialized expertise and will be handed over to the German authorities to conduct the necessary analyses.
