4Calgary Zoo
Located just east of the city’s downtown core on St. George’s Island, the Calgary Zoo offers tigers, gorillas, giraffes and hundreds of exotic animals. It is also one of the most visited zoos nationwide and has six ‘destinations’ within the zoo: Penguin Plunge, Prehistoric Park, Canadians Wilds, Conservatory & Gardens, Destination Africa and Eurasia.
