Sergey Tokarev About Scholarship from SET University

Sergey Tokarev, a well-known IT investor and co-founder of Roosh, announced that SET University, a Ukrainian university with a focus on technological education, has created scholarship programs that will help Ukrainian students significantly save on education. These scholarships are available for two master’s programs: Cyber Defense and Computer Science and Innovative Engineering. With these scholarships, students can cover between 70% and 90% of their tuition costs, making education at SET University affordable and attractive to young Ukrainian talent. You can find out about the features and requirements of these programs by visiting the SET University and the Roosh Facebook page, where Sergey Tokarev talks in detail about the new educational opportunities.

According to Sergey Tokarev‘s announcement, in cybersecurity and computer science education programs, students will have a unique opportunity to study aspects of cybersecurity, blockchain technology, and artificial intelligence, as well as training modules related to project management in the technology field, which will enrich the student experience and prepare them for real challenges in this area.

SET University partnered with the UC Berkeley-Fisher Business Intelligence Center, UC Berkeley, to present entrepreneurial programs designed to empower students to develop innovative solutions. In the process of completing their graduation projects, students will be given the opportunity to develop a new IT solution for modern technology companies.

SET University provides five scholarships for each program. Representatives of the Armed Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine, children of combatants, Ukrainian women who want to develop in the IT field, and migrants from conflict zones can participate. Applications are open until September 1, 2023.

Earlier, Sergey Tokarev initiated the allocation of five scholarships for master’s and micro master’s programs, covering the full cost of education. He stressed that investment in education is an important step towards rebuilding Ukraine.

Sergey Tokarev said that the grants provided under the scholarship program are the result of the support of various benefactors, including both individuals and companies. SET University has ambitious plans to expand this program to make higher education accessible to all Ukrainians. It invites both citizens and organizations wishing to contribute to the funding of grants that promote education.

In addition, SET University, together with the UC Berkeley Fisher Center for Business Intelligence, which operates at the University of California at Berkeley, organizes free business intelligence training for Ukrainian women.

The seminar will be led by Gauthier Vasseur, director, and professor at the Center for Business Intelligence at the University of California at Berkeley-Fisher.

Business Intelligence Education is the first of many joint initiatives between SET University and the UC Berkeley Fisher Center for Business Intelligence. However, this is only the beginning of their strategic collaboration, which will include the creation of a long-term program on innovation, entrepreneurship, and many other developments.

As Sergey Tokarev states, SET University is a cutting-edge non-profit educational institution dedicated to shaping the future of technology leaders. Outstanding specialists work here, and the university has partnerships with leading universities in the world. Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, SET University has paid special attention to making IT education accessible to every Ukrainian and to promoting the development of Ukrainian startups.
