British pop star Elton John plans to end his performing career with a final concert at Glastonbury Festival next June, as global newspapers recently revealed.
We are ecstatic to announce that Elton John will be performing at Glastonbury Festival 2023 on Sunday, June 25th. This will mark his final concert in the United Kingdom as part of his farewell tour.
Emily Ives, the organizer of the festival, announced via Twitter that this would be Elton John’s first time performing at the event. She went on to say, “We will conclude the festival with an unforgettable farewell ceremony at a momentous point in our journey.”

This is the end of Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour and his formal retirement from music.
John was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1998 for his musical talent and dedication to social causes, like campaigning against AIDS.
Over the course of his five-plus decades in the music industry, the superstars has sold more than 300 million records worldwide.
So far this year, Elton John is still leading the charts. His single “Cold Heart” with Dua Lipa hit No. 1 in the UK, as does his Christmas collaboration with Ed Sheeran from last year, “Merry Christmas.”
