Last night, Rihanna made her triumphant return to the stage after a seven-year hiatus when she performed in Phoenix for Super Bowl HALFTIME 2023. Reverting from head to toe in a vibrant red ensemble, the 34-year old singer and entrepreneur astounded viewers with an additional surprise – the announcement of her pregnancy! She became the first pregnant performer ever featured on halftime and was confirmed by her agent that same evening. Drawing worldwide acclaim for this feat, it certainly will be one performance we won’t soon forget!
The Grammy-winning star already had another child, which she welcomed in May of 2022 with her partner ASAP Rocky. During the halftime show, he was seen enthusiastically filming and dancing while supporting his beloved on the sidelines.

The return of the singer, Diamond, 34, comes after her focus in recent days was on her role as a mother after she welcomed her first child. Recently, she has been determined to become a successful female entrepreneur and make her own mark in the world.
Last October, Rihanna unveiled “Lift Me Up,” her first song in nearly seven years and a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman. This single appears on Wakanda Forever’s Black Panther soundtrack and is now nominated for Best Original Song at the 2021 Academy Awards. In September of last year, Rihanna revealed her much-anticipated participation in the Super Bowl halftime show. To make the announcement, she simply shared a photo on Instagram with no explanation – but it certainly didn’t need any. Seth Dudosky, NFL President of Music said: “We are delighted to have Rihanna join us at this iconic stage as such an exceptional artist and cultural phenomenon. We can’t wait to collaborate with her and Roc Nation/Apple Music for another historic halftime performance.”
