Approximately 91% of women are unhappy with their body. It’s a saddening statistic — everyone should feel confident in their own skin.

When it comes to picking outfits, you might feel that certain things you own are unflattering. For women especially, weight naturally fluctuates, meaning clothes may fit differently than the way they once did — and it’s important to be happy with where you’re at.

If you’ve found yourself googling the words, “weight loss clinic near me,” you’ve likely been in this position. And that’s okay! Losing weight healthily to achieve your aesthetic goals and feel better about yourself is nothing to be ashamed of, if done in the right manner.

You have to do what’s best for you. If losing weight is going to make you feel great in that dress, that’s what you should do. 

3. Feeling Confident When Going Out

No one wants to go out with friends or on a date and feel bad about how they look. Imagine going out and feeling good about yourself all the time?

That’s why it’s important to learn body positivity. You want to enjoy yourself when you go out to do just that. 

4. Having High Self-Worth

People with low self-esteem will often settle for things they don’t deserve whether that’s bad friends, partners who don’t treat them well, or something else.

You deserve good things in life, and having high self-worth will let you know that. High self-worth comes with having a positive body image. 

5. Improved Mental Health

Mental health is tied to how you feel about yourself, so feeling confident and having a healthy body image will give your mental health that much-needed boost.

You may not realize how much a poor body image actually gets you down, but it does.
