Brad William Henke, an actor known for his role in “Orange Is The New Black,” died earlier this year. Henke was a former NFL player who later transitioned into acting.

American magazine “TMZ” reports that, according to Brad William Henke’s family, the 56-year-old star died in his sleep last Tuesday. The cause of death is still unknown.

Upon hearing the news, Matt Delpiano–the manager of the late business–shared his condolences. He stated to the magazine: “William is gone…Brad was an incredibly sweet man with fun energy, a very talented actor, he loved being a part of this community…and we loved him…we sympathize with his wife and family.”

After Brad William Henke’s retirement from the NFL in 1994 due to ankle injuries, he began appearing in commercials.

The man, who passed away recently, shot to fame for his role as a prison guard in the iconic series “Orange Is The New Black”. He was applauded for nailing the scene where one of the major characters in the show was killed – which is incidentally, the most pivotal scene throughout all seasons of Orange Is The New Black.

Brad William Henke is an actor who has participated in many diverse television roles, such as “Justified” and “Lost.” He has also appeared in series such as “ER,” “Nash Bridges,” Silk Stalkings” and “Chicago Hope.” In addition to his work on television, he has also appeared in many films, including: Pacific Rim” and World Trade Center.”
