After spending time in the public eye and dealing with courtrooms, American actress Amber Heard is searching for privacy and calm. This comes after her ex-husband Johnny Depp brought a defamation lawsuit against her, which he won.
A source told American program ET that Amber has been living in Europe (Spain) since her trial with the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star ended last June.
In addition, he stated: “She feels that she gets more privacy while outside and loves being able to spend time with her daughter away from the public eye. She is in excellent shape and can handle staying out of the spotlight.” Amber had given birth to Oonagh in 2021.
The source stated that “Amber is more focused on being a mother and raising her daughter. She wants to move on and prepare for a new chapter in her life.”
Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation in 2019 and was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and another $5 million in punitive damages, which were later reduced to $350,000. The court ruled in favor of Amber on the issue of compensation, ordering her to pay Mr. Depp $2 million.
Earlier, Amber Heard announced she was bankrupt due to the high legal fees.
The six-week trial between the famous duo received a lot of attention and wide media coverage, as television stations reported.
