On Thursday, videos of a Mexican Ministry of Security helicopter crashing circulated social media platforms.
The videos captured the helicopter as it caught fire and ultimately crashed on a piece of farmland in Jesús María. Jesus Maria is located near Aguascalientes City in north-central Mexico.
4 crew members accompanied Mexican Security Minister Porfirio Javier Sanchez Mendoza, who was one of the victims, when the plane crashed. According to local media, both pilots died in the accident.

Burning footage of the plane wreck circulated on social media platforms showed the event unfolding.
Other footage that was recorded by activists and media outlets showed surveillance cameras capturing the moment the plane crashed into agricultural land.
