On the surface, it seems like it would be relatively easy to lose weight. I don’t think many people can argue with science, which says you need to burn more energy than you consume. Basically, it’s saying you should lower your calories and exercise more often.

Yet the vast majority of people find it difficult to lose their excess weight, so there must be something else going on. It would take too long to deep dive into everything, but we might have a solution for you. Here are some imaginative ways to lose weight.

1. You Can Always Change Jobs

There are lots of agriculture courses that will allow you to work on a farm. Do you think you’ll find it hard to lose weight if you’re carrying heavy things around all day? Ask yourself if you enjoy your current job.

I know manual labor might sound tough, but in reality your body will eventually get used to it. Some people find it preferable to working in an office. It’s worth thinking about if you absolutely detest work.

2. Choose a Brand New Hobby

It’s a struggle trying to hit the gym multiple times per week, but you don’t feel the same way about your  favorite hobby. If you had the money to quit your job tomorrow you would spend a lot of time doing it.

Maybe your hobby can be something fitness-related like jumping rope, which burns an enormous amount of calories. You’ll love learning all the tricks. I guess you’ve got to try everything before you can rule it out.

3. Try to Save up Some Money

If you want to kill two birds with one stone you should try to save some money. We already know most Americans don’t have any savings. You’ve just got to remember you can’t cheat by spending money on rubbish food.

Buy the same kinds of foods you did in the past. You’ll come up with ideas like going shopping at night when you can grab deals. It won’t take long before you become lazy and start reducing your portion sizes.

4. Hypnotherapy Can Help You

Hypnotherapy is the strongest tool we have today that can affect your brain if you don’t count drugs. I think people are scared because they’ve watched a stage hypnotist, but in a clinic you don’t go to sleep.

They simply put you into a deep rest to calm your conscious mind. Afterwards, they’ll have more direct access to your subconscious mind to feed it suggestions. It’s a quick fix if you want to lose weight.

5. Get Rid of Your ‘Friends’

I think everyone knows stress causes us to gain weight. If the cortisol levels in your body are too high you’ll find it hard to see results. Unfortunately, you hear the same boring tips over and over again.

If you want a really effective one get rid of the friends in your life who cause you stress. The relationship obviously isn’t working, so maybe it’s better for everyone. Don’t let anyone become a drain on your life.

6. Start Sniffing Certain Foods

In Chicago, they carried out an experiment with 3,000 people. It involved them sniffing apples, bananas, and peppermint on a daily basis. After the experiment people lost around 30 pounds on average.

Apparently, you’ll get better results if you sniff more times throughout the day. It’s supposed to trick your brain into thinking you’re eating. All you really need to know is that it’s worked for lots of people.

It’s Better to Get Started Straight Away

You don’t want to lose too many pounds every week because it’s unhealthy. It can also cause excessive stretch marks. If you start straight away you’ll eventually reach your ideal body weight a lot quicker.
