2Take a nail polish holiday

If you’ve noticed that your nails are looking a little thin and sallow every time you remove your nail polish, you may be in need of a nail polish vacation. Polishes are strong chemicals that bind to your nail beds and do not allow them exposure to sunlight or moisturizers. This can cause nails to build up excess layers of keratin, become brittle and yellowed.
Unfortunately, nails do take a long time to regenerate so a nail polish holiday will have to be around three months to provide the most benefit to your nails.
