A 13-year-old child caused a tragedy in which a woman was killed, while 12 people were sent to the hospital, after a car he was driving collided with two other cars while being chased by police in California, according to what was reported by the American “CNN” network, Sunday, April 9, 2023 .
An officer with the Woodland Police Department, about 15 miles northwest of Sacramento, spotted a vehicle being driven erratically on the afternoon of Saturday, April 8, according to a police press release.
Woodland Police also said the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, a chase ensued and the vehicle then crashed into two other vehicles, starting a two-vehicle fire. Four ambulances were called to the scene – one person died and 12 were injured.
While the police later announced that the driver of the car involved in the chase was a 13-year-old boy driving a stolen car. Police said the California Highway Patrol is now investigating the cause of the crash
