New York police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a man to death multiple times near a city bus stop early Monday, in an “unimaginable” attack.
A video clip revealed the accused approaching the victim, a social activist named Ryan Carson, and his girlfriend, and attacking them. He exchanged punches with the victim and then stabbed him until he fell to the ground.
Carson’s girlfriend carried her mortally wounded lover in her arms before transporting him to Kings County Hospital Center, where he could not be saved, according to cops and sources.

The incident occurred in Brooklyn shortly before 4 a.m., according to police, who said Carson, 32, a well-known social justice advocate, died after being stabbed in the chest.
Unprovoked attack
For its part, ABC in New York reported that Carson and his girlfriend were returning home from a wedding when the apparently unprovoked attack occurred.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the New York Police Department published a photo of an unknown suspect being sought in the murder. A police spokesman said Tuesday evening that no arrests had been made so far.
Carson was a longtime campaign organizer for the New York Public Interest Research Group, a nonpartisan political organization focused on waste policy. He also created the No OD NY campaign, which raised awareness of overdose prevention centers.
