Brendan Fraser became “picky” after winning the Oscar

American actor Brendan Fraser shocked his audience by announcing his unemployment, and that he is not planning a work of art after winning the Academy Award for Best Actor for the year 2023 for his role in the movie “The Whale”.

Brendan said on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the “Greenwich International Film Festival”, in response to a question about his “future roles”, that he had become “picky” after winning the Oscar last March, so he currently has no work to present to the public.

And the journalists joked, because of the American Writers Guild strike, saying that if he did not find any text he liked, he would be forced to participate in the sit-in, and raise a banner demanding a text that achieves what he aspires to, but it seems that it is a long summer of rest without work.

But Brendan pointed out that he will soon appear, in Martin Scorsese’s movie “The Moonflower Killers” with Leonardo DiCaprio, which will be shown for the first time in the world at the Cannes Film Festival soon.

He pointed out that the film is huge, and includes a group of stars, and that his role in it is a guest of honor, and stressed that the filming conditions were very difficult, as a result of the heat in Oklahoma, and yet he is excited to watch the work because it is different in everything.
