Elon Musk, head of the electric car company, announced earlier this week that the company will try advertising for its cars for the first time, a move that analysts indicated could increase demand.

Tesla raised the prices of some new models slightly twice this month in America , but prices are still much lower than they were before the price cuts began this year.
