On Tuesday,, June 13, 2023, the American police arrested a demonstrator, dressed in a prison uniform, who obstructed the convoy of former US President Donald Trump, after his trial session in a federal court in Miami, USA, in the “secret documents” case.

Video of the incident shows a man holding a “lock him up” sign jumping in front of an SUV, before being grabbed by Secret Service agents running alongside the vehicle, but it’s not clear if the man will face any charges for storming Trump’s motorcade.

While the former president faces 37 counts of wrongfully keeping documents related to national security when he left office, and lying to officials who sought to recover them. He is accused of keeping documents that included information about the secret US nuclear program.

The 49-page indictment also says Trump showed some of the documents to people without security clearances to review them. Trump’s residence in Palm Beach.

While Trump insisted that he was innocent , he accused President Joe Biden’s administration of targeting him. The former US president considered the criminal charges against him “the worst, heinous and vicious abuse of power in the history of our country,” stressing that his trial represented “election interference.” The highest charge carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison, according to Agence France-Presse.
