American billionaire Elon Musk said, Sunday, July 23, 2023, that he is looking forward to changing the logo of the social networking giant Twitter platform, explaining that the “bird” sign that has been associated with the site since its founding in 2006 will be abandoned.
Musk wrote on his Twitter account that he owns: “We will soon bid farewell to the Twitter trademark, and gradually to all birds,” and added in another tweet: “If a logo of sufficient quality is published tonight, we will launch it around the world tomorrow,” and Musk did not give further details.
In a third tweet, Musk pointed out the possibility of using the letter X in the new Twitter logo, and launched a challenge among Twitter users to design the logo, and many took the initiative to develop their designs through their responses to Musk’s tweet.

Musk, who is CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, had acquired the Twitter platform in October 2022, for $ 44 billion.
Musk merged Twitter with another entity called X Corp, making it part of his company X Holdings Corp, which has been described as the future parent company of all his companies that include Neuralink, SpaceX, Tesla and The Boring Company.

Musk published a tweet, in April 2023, in which he wrote one letter, an X, which raised many speculations, and the tweet reminded me of what Musk had said in the past, that the purchase of Twitter would be an “acceleration” to create X, or “the application of everything.”
Musk has previously expressed his desire to make his company X similar to the Chinese application WeChat, which is used for various purposes such as electronic payments, booking event tickets, and exchanging messages. But Musk did not specify at the time how App X would fit into his empire, which includes Tesla and other companies.
