Thor and Star Wars star Ray Stevenson has passed away at the age of 58

Actor Ray Stevenson , who appeared on major TV shows, has died; Such as: Rome, Vikings, and Dexter, at the age of 58, four days before his fifty-ninth birthday.

The actor was known for his roles in Thor, Star Wars, and Divergent series, and is known across India for playing British Governor Scott Buxton in RRR , in addition to numerous TV shows in the UK; Such as: Band of Gold, Peak Practice and Murphy’s Law.

His US advertising company, Viewpoint, confirmed his death to the BBC, but did not provide any further details. The cause of death was not disclosed, but it was reported that he was hospitalized during filming on the Italian island of Ischia; As at the time of his death, he was working on an action film, Cassino in Ischia.

Stevenson was born in Northern Ireland, but moved to England when he was eight years old. His father was stationed in the Royal Air Force (RAF) near Lisburn, County Antrim, at the time of his birth in 1964. His family moved to Newcastle upon Tyne, and he spent much of his childhood in England.

Stevenson was inspired by his field of acting after seeing John Malkovich in a play at London’s West End Theatre. He studied acting at the Bristol Old Vic Theater School and had one of his first television roles in Kathryn Coxon’s drama The Dwelling Place. He subsequently appeared in a wide range of British television programmers, including: Waking the Dead, Dalziel, Pascoe, and At Home with the Braithwaite’s.

In 2004, he played a knight in the big budget Hollywood movie King Arthur, which starred Keira Knightley. Recently, Stevenson got He has had roles in successful American TV shows and films, playing Volstagg in the Thor trilogy, and Titus Polo in the historical drama series Rome. He is set to appear as Paylan Scholl in the upcoming Disney+ series Star
